Melissa Smith has joined the Pinnacle team in the National Capital Region as a Senior Credit Officer. She will build and lead a team of credit counselors who will partner with financial advisors to review and structure loans in the marketplace. Smith is based at the company’s temporary location at Tysons Corner.

Smith worked her entire career up to that point at BB&T, now Truist, starting as a sales officer in Atlanta and navigating through several credit positions including senior credit manager where she managed several loan officers in support of areas of Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC and Pennsylvania. .
