Nagad, a Bangladeshi digital financial service, has launched Bank to Nagad – a money add service allowing users to transfer funds from Meghna Bank to their Nagad wallet.
The service was recently inaugurated at an event held at the head office of Meghna Bank Limited.
Nagad customers could add money from Meghna Bank to their wallet at any time, conveniently and risk-free, according to a press release.
Rahel Ahmed, CEO of Nagad, Saidur Rahman Dipu, Head of Corporate Sales, Sheikh Saud Bin Jahan, Head of Banking and FI, and Sohail RK Hussain, Managing Director and CEO of Meghna Bank Ltd, Shyamol B Das, Director Deputy General and Chief Information Officer of Meghna Bank, and Mr. Nazeem A Choudhury, Head of Retail Banking and SMEs, were present at the program among others.
Rahel Ahmed, CEO of Nagad said, “We have created opportunities for our valued customers to add money to the Nagad wallet with many commercial banks in the country. Since its inception, Nagad has worked tirelessly to provide people with transactional freedom. Thanks to this agreement, customers will be able to conduct transactions more easily.
Customers can use this service to send money to any Nagad account for free using online banking and mobile app.
In addition, customers will be able to transfer daily from 50 Tk to 50,000 Tk to any Nagad account.
As a result, each user will be able to transfer up to 3 Tk lakes per month to their Nagad wallet, the statement adds.
