Nabil Bank is listed under the GSM 102 Export Credit Guarantee Program, US Department of Agriculture
KATHMANDU: Nabil Bank has entered into an agreement with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to register the bank under the GSM 102 export credit guarantee program administered by the USDA.
Nabil Bank is the first and only bank in Nepal to be listed under this program after a rigorous due diligence audit by the USDA office.
With this arrangement, Nabil Bank will benefit from a USDA export credit guarantee line limit.
The letter of credit issued by Nabil Bank on behalf of its customers to import goods under the USDA program will no longer need to add third party confirmation.
In addition, US exporters under this agreement can benefit from financing facilities with US banks with an underlying irrevocable letter of credit issued by Nabil Bank.
Enrollment in the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Export Credit Guarantee Program is another milestone for Nabil Bank in its efforts to establish its reach. and its international recognition on a global scale.
