THE GCB Bank PLC is poised to shape the country’s digital space with innovative products and services to boost the economy.
The bank said its G-Money has not only met the digital needs of Ghanaians but has also filled the void in the mobile money space over the years.
Speaking at the grand finale of a dubbed promo; Win Like A gee, Accra, Mary Dugbartey, Marketing Director of GCB Bank PLC, said: “G-Money is poised to shape the digital space; we are not just a mobile money platform, we are a combination of mobile and banking, so we will continue to deliver premium products to our customers.
“We will provide a one-stop-shop for all that is needed in terms of financial transactions and ensure that our platforms are very secure and resilient.”
The promotion, which ran for five months, rewarded winners in the first four months for their consistent interaction with the brand. The final rewarded more than 100 customers and agents across the country.
The ultimate winners of the promotion, Augustine Obour, Private Solicitor, and Alfred Owusu-Ansah, G-Money Agent at GreenWaves Commodities Limited, each received a brand new Peugeot 301 sedan.
Other winners received electronics such as refrigerators, blenders, air conditioners, laptops, microwaves and cell phones.
Mr. Obour expressed his enthusiasm and thanked the GCB for the award.
“I have been with the GCB for about 30 years and I can even tell you my bank account off the top of my head. I am happy to have at least been rewarded for my commitment to the bank.
Head of Mobile Financial Services (G-Money), Carl Ashie, said that by offering unique, ubiquitous and telecommunications-independent services, G-Money has enabled customers to sign up and perform all financial transactions mobile money, regardless of their mobile network affiliation or bank commitment.
