Credit Suisse Brasil appoints Chilov as CEO

SAO PAULO, Aug 5 (Reuters) – The Brazilian subsidiary of Credit Suisse Group AG (CSGN.S) has appointed Marcello Chilov as CEO, the bank said on Friday.
Ivan Monteiro, who was named interim co-CEO of Credit Suisse with Chilov in January, will become president of wealth and investment banking operations in the country, according to a statement.
Monteiro is a former CEO of state-controlled oil company Petrobras.

Chilov and Monteiro will report to Christian Meissner, investment banker and CEO Americas.
Chilov will continue to lead wealth management in Latin America, reporting to Francesco De Ferrari, CEO of Wealth Management.
Chilov and Monteiro will remain members of the board of directors of Credit Suisse Brasil, chaired by Ana Paula Pessoa.
